2013 Session 3: Robust Egalitarianism

The session begins with an appeal to pray for the persecuted church in the mid-East.

Continuing from last week, Dr. Nunnally explores St. Paul’s admonition to live a transformational life.  This is what Christian community is all about. Our specific attention focuses on the apostle’s message with respect to women in fellowship and worship. “From scripture we understand that women in the early church were vital to the community of believers, and involved in public prayer and prophesy. How are we to understand this reality against Paul’s message about women keeping silent in public?”

Women and men are of vital importance to the ongoing ministry of Christ.
