2018 Session 7: Jesus … Outside the Bible (2)

Dr. Nunnally continues a four part series on references to Jesus from outside the Bible. Before the end of the first century, historians were commenting on both Jesus and Christian communities. The new spiritual belief was bringing change to the Roman empire–much of which was unwelcome.

In today’s session, Dr. Nunnally begins a four part series on references to Jesus from outside the Bible. The question is almost absurd, but many wonder if Jesus might have been an “invented,” fictional character. As it turns out, there are numerous references to Jesus, outside the New Testament Cannon. We look into a few of those references in today’s session.
