2019 Session 11: Valley of Death

Runtime 28:30

The wilderness is an important landscape in biblical history. Jesus, of course, pursued a critical time of prayer, fasting, and temptation … in the wilderness. Evangelical Press Award

Pride is never a safe practice, especially among Christ’s followers. As a matter of fact, it’s something to be carefully avoided. That said, we announce (sans pride) Dr. Nunnally’s recent award from the Evangelical Press Association for his article, The Resurrection of Jesus: Fact or Fiction? Dr. Nunnally isn’t just a university professor and our teacher at Faithbuilders, he’s also a prolific writer.

2018 Session 34: God & Jihad (3)

Dr. Nunnally continues our conversation on the differences between cherem (Holy War) and Jihad. There’s a temptation to view the two as roughly equivalent, but they’re not. The Holy Wars declared by Yahweh and Israel are not the same as Islamic jihad. And the difference reveals God’s expectations for His people … today, on Faithbuilders.
