Part of the mission of the Body-of-Christ is to those outside the faith. We’re also on a mission to our brothers and sisters who worship with us, within the Body-of-Christ. In this session, Dr. Nunnally reminds us that the early church required new leadership, as well as a new community and fellowship. “Beginning in the book of Acts we find — not just the disciples — but we find upwards of 120 people who have constituted themselves around the person and teachings of Jesus … as a unique community.” A community that included the earthly family of Jesus. “Community” is a vital part of “new life in Christ.”
