2016 Session 18: Abandoned Path

When God’s people wander from the path, their efforts run the risk of “going off the rails.” In today’s session, Dr. Nunnally convenes a discussion of the troubles found in today’s faith community. A solution emerges from a renewed passion for the Word of God. “Don’t allow yourself to read more from inspirational books than what you’re reading from scripture. All true spiritual renewals proceed from an awakened passion for God’s Word.”

2016 Session 16: Circumsion

In today’s session, Dr. Nunnally focuses on the language found in Bible. What does it mean when the prophet Jeremiah tells us to have a “circumcised heart?” Inevitably, the subject brings up the subject of obedience, and the blessings that result. The same discussion reminds us: disobedience brings judgement.
