2014 Session 9: Crush

In this session, Dr. Nunnally directs us to Romans 16:19-20, and a starting point: “ … and the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet.”  He encouraged us to remember that all 66 books of the Bible, and the 1500 years across which they were written, advanced one theme: all the Bible is about God. We were admonished not to reach into the vast treasury of scripture, retrieve a snippet of scripture to support some exotic theological point, but to always place scripture within context of its circumstance. Lots of class interaction.

2014 Session 8: Spearpoint

In today’s session, Dr. Nunnally tells about recent discoveries in the Holy Land – the synagogue at Magdala. Additionally, he describes the miraculous healing of his friend. As the session continues, he takes up the critical issue of addiction: “What overcomes you, enslaves you. Addictions bring destruction.”

2014 Session 6: Unity|Uniformity

In this session Dr. Nunnally takes up the challenge of Christian fellowship. How do we deal with issues that tend to divide believers? What are the non-negotiables? How does Paul distinguish between “personal preference” and “issues-of-significance?”
